Psychology here I think, if a product is more expensive than another then some people will think that the cheaper product might not be as good as the more expensive version.

If not then it is likely that:

a) They have spent a lot more on developing the item and need to recoup that amount.

b) That they can make more of a profit at the expense of the consumer.

c) They had not thought out their marketing strategy cost wise against their competitors.

Or finally:

d) I am talking a load of crap!! :D

Coming back onto VR, has anyone thought of using Leap Motion?

I like it. particularly that it doesn’t require any more grunt. but I am flat out of USB 3.0 ports. Even the hub is full. Can u piggy back those hubs?

I'm so tempted as I have the cash on hand, except for the fact that the cash is part of the other cash needed for a PC upgrade. Must...resist...the...urge. :(

Been there....resist. The upgrade will bring you much joy. The new Occulus thing Sparkys talking about isnt out yet. Sometime this month I think so worth waiting on the reviews. A mate of mine was also telling me about the vive pro. Going to assess that also, tho the Occulus may have more cameras...(whatever that does lol)
